On April 23rd, NWS will be doing work at the water treatment building, adding calcite and replacing some gaskets. The calcite adjusts the pH of the water before sending it out to the water system. The pH adjustment reduces the potential for corrosion to pipes and fittings. The work is not anticipated to disrupt water service, but you could experience cloudy water due to air bubbles in the water that does not affect the quality of the water. If you experience sediment in your water, please run water at a hose bib before it enters your house until the water runs clear. Please contact the office at 360-352-4787 if you experience this.
