Water Boil Notice is Lifted!

We’ve heard back from NWW and the lab. The sample has passed all tests.

We are lifting the boil requirement.

Sorry for not getting the information out sooner. We just found out ourselves.

Due to it being the weekend and late in the day, you might still see signs up around the neighborhood and on the reader board. Please disregard and this is the official notice.

Update to Emergency Water Shutoff and Repairs

The repair has been finished! Yay! Water only had to be shutoff to 13 houses, which is why many of you still had water.

A full community water boil notice is in effect due to the potential of contaminants entering the system once the water is turned back on and pressure is re-applied. A water sample has been taken and is headed to the lab, it will arrive today before 5pm. Since the lab is pre-certified with DOH, once the sample is cleared(tomorrow 1/8), we’ll let you know if the boil notice is lifted.

We will update the reader board, post boil notice signs around the community and we’ll also be sending a message to your cell phones and emails.

Attention, Scott Lake Residents!

We have flooded areas and roadways around our community. Please be careful when out and about, especially when driving. Please slow down and use precautionary measures. Thurston County Public Works is in the process of posting “Water over the Road” signs to help with awareness.

Attention: Scott Lake Residents

We are experiencing a great deal of flooding due to heavy rains.

There are sand bags at the community center parking lot and Littlerock Fire House. They are free, please help yourself.

Many streets, ditches and creeks are filling up with water, please be careful out there and take the necessary precautions.

Emergency Water Shutoff – Friday Jan. 7th 2022 approx. 9am-4pm

Due to a broken pipe on the corner of Shoreview/Vantage, water needs to be shutoff to perform the repairs.

The affected streets are Shoreview, Vantage and Scotlac. The homes on these streets are being contacted to prepare for the shutoff.

We suspect that a car into the ditch from the inclement weather could have caused this, but nothing definite. Another piece of news is that we’re investigating additional needed repairs while we’re down there to further improved our water system.

We have been advised that a boil notice will occur after the repairs are finished.
