On December 27, 2023, the Board received a petition from Sherry Stacy to recall 5 Board members and elect 5 new board members.
On January 2, 2024, the Board received another petition signed by Sherry Stacy to recall all the board members and elect new members. Both petitions were signed by 10% of the community, which is enough to call a special meeting of the Scott Lake Homeowners. Both petitions call for the Special Meeting to be held on January 20th.
After consulting with the Scott Lake Maintenance Company’s attorney, the board will be scheduling a special meeting of the members for February 10th at 10:00 am (PST) at the Community Center to take the recall action as stated in the second petition. Other actions called for in the petition are improper for this meeting (please see letter from attorney). The meeting had to be rescheduled to ensure enough time for the announcement to be mailed to all property owners per the RCWs.
