Only 1 week left until National Night Out AND the 1st ever Scott Lake Car Show AND Back to School Supply Distribution! August 5th is going to be a BIG night for Scott Lake! And it’s all FREE!
Schedule:
4:45PM
Cars participating in the show meet at the boat launch parking lot.
5 to 8PM
Car show, back to school supply distribution (while supplies last), cotton candy, axe throwing, face painting, bubbles, and community resource tables. Any and all Scott Lake business owners are invited to bring their business cards and/or flyers to display.
5:30 to 8 (while supplies last)
Hot dogs, chips, and watermelon. Thank you to SLAMS for cooking!
5:45PM
Kids of all ages meet at the fire station on Trevue to participate in the parade. Kids under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Bikes and scooters encouraged but not required. If anyone wants to decorate their bike/scooter we will have supplies at the park beginning at 5.
6:00PM Parade
Follow the West Thurston Fire Truck to the park! We encourage residents along the parade route to come out and cheer the kids on!
Parade route: Trevue to Scott Creek, left on Scott Creek, left on Scotlac, ending at the boat launch parking lot. Anyone who is not up for the full length is welcome to join along the route.
6:30PM (or immediately following the parade)
Magic show by The Count. Before and after his show, The Count will be in the park amazing residents with close up magic!
